Celebrate with Style
A good friend of mine recently retired from a high stress job at a major insurance company. To say that she’s been counting down the days would not be an exageration. Everytime I connected with her I’d ask, “How many days?” and she always knew… exactly. Sometimes she even told me how many hours!
To celebrate her retirement, Lynda decided to do something “not practical… but great fun.”

I was thrilled when Lynda shared this photo with me. She celebrated her successful retirement with grace, class and a lot of fun.
I can imagine her friends standing on the curb watching and waving goodbye as she leaves for the last time. Then I can imagine her sipping champagne and giggling with delight as she thinks of all the new fun and adventures she will have in the coming years.
What do you do to celebrate with style? Have you ever bought yourself a single rose to celebrate that 2-pound weight loss? Have you danced with glee at not letting the workplace brat push your emotional buttons?
Celebrating the successes in life can be fun and memorable. I’ll even say they should be fun and memorable!
Congratulations Lynda! Thanks for sharing your sweet celebration with us. Impractical or not, I loved it!
